SMOREs: St. Martin's Outdoor Recreation Enthusiasts
Coming Attractions
October 16 through 19, 2008, is the second annual Big Bend camping trip. Big Bend is sooo big (and sooo far away) that we have to take four days for the trip. But it is well worth it as many, including me, will attest. And for the faint of heart and those that like to take showers, there are motel-type accommodations in the park, but you better reserve those quickly. In case you don't make cabin reservations in time, I already have the three prime group camp sites reserved (close to the bathrooms!), and we'd be glad to help you set up your tent. We'll have a final meeting for committing to the trip in early September, but if you have questions now, please let me know.
Please let me know what questions you have. You can reach me at lmhpub-smores@yahoo. com, or call my cell at 689-0908.
Peace,
Lloyd

Natural Bridge Caverns is located just off of FM-3009, which is somewhat halfway to San Antonio, and we'll definitely discuss directions before leaving. We had a great time at Bright Leaf back in November.

Our trip to Big Bend was fantastic! Some of our experience was captured on film: Photos from Big Bend. Browse to SMOREs on Flickr and SMOREs on SmugMug for more photos of our Big Bend trip.
