St. Martin’s Connections
Calendar of Events and E-Weekly News
St. Martin’s promotes connections within our congregation and community. We host churchwide events to bring together our community in a variety of ways and times so everyone can connect. Various ministries are part of this group, including Stephen Ministers, WELCA, Welcome Center, small groups, bereavement team, and more. We welcome members to join us in this special ministry of connection. Contact Karen Cross or Susan Jensen for volunteer information.

Fellowship Ministries
- Food and Fellowship
Join the team to bring snacks for our fun and meaningful post-worship fellowship. You can team up to provide snacks at the service time of your choice. To learn more and sign up to bring snacks for a single service, go to this Google Form. Also, you can be part of Team
Potluck that sets up for these wonderful churchwide gatherings. - Welcome Ministry
Welcome visitors and offer information at the Welcome Center during each church service (before and after the service). Be part of a growing service to welcome new members to the church and connect them to opportunities to share their gifts - MEN OF THE CHURCH
Help launch a new men’s fellowship here at St. Martin’s. We’ll be building this ministry on the fly—volunteering? sports? Bible study? Happy hour? How about all of the above - WOMEN OF THE CHURCH FELLOWSHIP
Join in fellowship between the multiple generations of women in the congregation through bi-annual retreats focused on study, reflection, relaxation, and community, and through monthly fellowship events
Compassion Ministries
- Stephen Ministry
One-to-one care providers trained to support people experiencing grief, divorce, loneliness, job loss, medical crisis, and many other life difficulties. Meet weekly to listen, care, pray, and reflect Christ’s presence. A life-changing experience for both the care receiver and the Stephen Minister. Check the bulletin for upcoming training and continuing education open to all - BEREAVEMENT COMMITTEE
Our group steps in to provide a simple meal to the family after a memorial/funeral of a loved one. There are foods to be purchased and prepared. Then we divide the time to set up, serve, and clean up. Not each member of the committee serves each time so we need many members to share these duties - PASTORAL CARE
Joins the pastoral staff in caring for our members. This includes calling and bringing Home Communion to those who cannot regularly attend worship services.
